Getting Bored With Your Workouts?

Try doing everything in reverse order for a change.

Most people start their workouts with the typical heavy compound movements like Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift, Shoulder Press, etc. This is a great way to train and how I do most of the time too. However, you can really shock your body and provide a much needed change by doing everything in reverse order every once in a while. It's a form of pre-exhaustion.

Start off with the isolation exercises like flys, laterals, leg extensions, etc. After fully completing all of your isolation movements and thoroughly exhausting the intended body part, move on to the heavy compound exercise for that group like bench press, squats, seated military presses, or whatever.

This sudden change always works wonders for eliminating boredom and giving the body a much needed new stimulus.
